ENC Marblehead Klasse in St. Moritz

Vom 9.-11. Juli 2022 fand in St. Moritz unter Leitung der Nationalen Schweizer Klassenvereinigung der MARBLEHEAD-Klasse der ENC - European Nations Cup statt.

26 RC Skipper aus 5 Nationen waren in die Engadiner Alpen gekommen und segelten in 2 Gruppen an den 3 Tagen 11 resp. 22 Läufe. Gegenüber früheren Jahren waren die Windverhältnisse dieses Mal eher leicht. Das B-Rigg musste nur für kurze Zeit eingesetzt werden. Das Niveau der angereisten RC-Sportsegler war, wie bei allen ENC Regatten, sehr hoch. Und so konnten im Feld der 26 am Ende nur die konstantesten Segler die vordersten Plätze einnehmen.
Mit nur wenigen Punkten Differenz waren Gilles di Crescenzo ( FRA 06, 27 Pte), Matteo Longhi (ITA 24, 29 Pte) und Yannik Rossignol (FRA 22, 33 Pte) die verdienten Gewinner dieser fantastischen Regatta. Herzliche Gratulation an das Siegerpodest und natürlich auch an alle anderen Segler.

Mit Pierre Gonnet leitete wieder ein sehr professioneller und guter Wettkampfleiter die Regatta. Wir bedanken uns bei Pierre und auch seinen Unterstützerinnen Alessia und Elena auch im Namen aller Skipper für ihre kompetente Arbeit an diesen Segeltagen.

Die Schweizer Marblehead-Klassenvereinigung bedankt sich bei allen Teilnehmern und wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen in St. Moritz in 2023. Hoffentlich dann auch mit deutlich mehr Schweizer Beteiligung.

Du 9 au 11 juillet 2022, l'ENC - European Nations Cup s'est déroulée à St-Moritz sous la direction de l'association nationale suisse de la classe MARBLEHEAD.

26 skippers RC de 5 nations sont venus dans les Alpes engadinoises et ont navigué en 2 groupes pendant les 3 jours, respectivement 11 et 22 manches. Par rapport aux années précédentes, les conditions de vent étaient cette fois plutôt légères. Le gréement B n'a dû être utilisé que pendant une courte période. Comme lors de toutes les régates de l'ENC, le niveau des navigateurs de sport RC qui ont fait le déplacement était très élevé. Et c'est ainsi que, dans le peloton des 26, seuls les navigateurs les plus constants ont fini par occuper les premières places.
Avec seulement quelques points de différence, Gilles di Crescenzo (FRA 06, 27 pts), Matteo Longhi (ITA 24, 29 pts) et Yannik Rossignol (FRA 22, 33 pts) ont été les vainqueurs mérités de cette fantastique régate. Toutes nos félicitations au podium et bien sûr à tous les autres navigateurs.

Avec Pierre Gonnet, c'est à nouveau un très professionnel et bon directeur de compétition qui a dirigé la régate. Au nom de tous les skippers, nous remercions Pierre et ses assistantes Alessia et Elena pour leur travail compétent lors de ces journées de voile.

L'association suisse des classes Marblehead remercie tous les participants et nous nous réjouissons de les revoir à St-Moritz en 2023, avec, espérons-le, une participation suisse nettement plus importante.

Dal 9 all'11 luglio 2022 si è svolta a St. Moritz la ENC - European Nations Cup, sotto la direzione dell'Associazione Nazionale Svizzera di Classe MARBLEHEAD.

26 skipper RC provenienti da 5 nazioni si sono recati sulle Alpi engadinesi e hanno regatato rispettivamente 11 e 22 manches in 2 gruppi durante i 3 giorni. Rispetto agli anni precedenti, questa volta le condizioni del vento erano piuttosto leggere. L'impianto B è stato utilizzato solo per un breve periodo. Il livello dei velisti sportivi del RC era molto alto, come in tutte le regate ENC. E così, in un campo di 26 concorrenti, solo i velisti più costanti sono riusciti a conquistare i primi posti.
Con pochi punti di differenza Gilles di Crescenzo (FRA 06, 27 Pte), Matteo Longhi (ITA 24, 29 Pte) e Yannik Rossignol (FRA 22, 33 Pte) sono stati i meritati vincitori di questa fantastica regata. Congratulazioni al podio e naturalmente a tutti gli altri velisti.

Con Pierre Gonnet, un direttore di gara molto professionale e bravo è stato nuovamente incaricato della regata. Ringraziamo Pierre e le sue sostenitrici Alessia ed Elena anche a nome di tutti gli skipper per il loro competente lavoro in queste giornate di vela.

From 9-11 July 2022, the ENC - European Nations Cup took place in St. Moritz under the direction of the Swiss National MARBLEHEAD Class Association.

26 RC skippers from 5 nations came to the Engadine Alps and sailed 11 and 22 heats respectively in 2 groups over the 3 days. Compared to previous years, the wind conditions were rather light this time. The B rig only had to be used for a short time. The level of the RC sports sailors was very high, as at all ENC regattas. And so, in the field of 26, only the most consistent sailors were able to take the top places in the end.
With only a few points difference Gilles di Crescenzo ( FRA 06, 27 Pte), Matteo Longhi (ITA 24, 29 Pte) and Yannik Rossignol (FRA 22, 33 Pte) were the deserved winners of this fantastic regatta. Congratulations to the podium and of course to all the other sailors.

With Pierre Gonnet, a very professional and good race director was again in charge of the regatta. We thank Pierre and also his supporters Alessia and Elena also in the name of all skippers for their competent work on these sailing days.
